Expressing Love
Like all communication expressing love can also be either verbal or non-verbal. The most effective way of non-verbal expression of love is through the eyes. Eyes can communicate volumes. Feelings of love, hatred, compassion, doubt, joy, anger and a horde of other feelings can be easily expressed through eyes.
If 60 % of the communication is verbal 40% of communication is non-verbal and in this non-verbal communication the eyes play a prominent role. So expressing love through eyes is not only easy but also very effective. The rest of the communication can be effectively done by oral or verbal language. Verbal and non-verbal communication can be used to the maximum to express love for the most beloved ones.
Love can be expressed in many small and big ways. It is never too difficult to say either,' I care for you or I love you.' Here are some of the ways through which you can express your love for your beloved.
- Giving gifts to your beloved is the safest and simplest way of expressing love. Remember, it is always better to give some gifts of personal use to the women and remember gifts that enhance the manly image of men should be given to men. A perfume, an item of cosmetics, a piece of jewellary (even artificial), or even some dress if it is affordable can be the best bet to please your lady love, but the men will require something that can satisfy their male ego.
- Helping ones beloved even in minor ways is a very effective way of expressing love. Help her if you can in gardening, watering the plants or even taking out the pet for a stroll, hope you don't have an allergy for animals and pets.
- Here is a tested method of expressing love. Try escorting your ladylove to the shopping mall. You can rest assured of her company for a long time and of course remember to hold her shopping bag and please don't get irritated at the time she spends at each section and even if you get annoyed please don't show it on the face.
- Remember not to be over protective about your lady, as some of the women don't like themselves to be treated as sissies. When they vehemently refuse your over zealous approach to help, learn your limit and stay there. She will sooner or later come to you with her bag of troubles (be it her shopping bag or personal bag of troubles) and then, then dear Knight in Shining Armour jump to the rescue of your princess.
- Every small thing like a pat on the shoulder to an understanding hug can show that we care for someone we love. Consoling and comforting when in real need of a word of comfort, that understanding smile when every thing and every one else seem to be doubting your actions is a great way of expressing love. Making them aware of your presence when they turn to a helping hand speaks more than a volume of words to talk about your intentions.
- Here is a very pragmatic way of saying, 'I care for you' or a form of expressing your love in a warm-hearted manner. A husband who loved his wife very much could not bear even the thought of his wife shedding tears for any thing and used to cut onions himself for every food item.
- So go ahead and express those lovely thoughts of love in as many ways as you want and conceive of.
