What is Love?

There are many meanings attributed to love. But one can define it as a soul stirring experience that could happen irrespective of age, color, creed and nationality. It is a universal feeling which does not look for returns or gains. Love need not be always physical; it can also be at a spiritual level. This love need not be just between a man and a woman. It can be love for your parents, siblings, friends, cousins and even your pets. Love is an intimate liking, which transcends all mundane considerations, in the true sense.

True Love

True love is about giving and giving unquestioningly. Physical attraction is usually a passing phase and cannot stay for long. But, love which stems from the roots of mutual trust and understanding grows more strong with the passing time and stays strong and irreversible against the test of time. True love is all about living for each other and accepting the faults and strenghts of each other.

How to say I love you!

The truth is that, there is no hard and fast rule to say, 'I love you'. This is something you should express from the bottom of your heart. You should be able to show it through your eyes and utter the three words through your voice. The first time you meet someone is not the best time to express your feelings but do not wait too long to come out with your heart on your palm, because there is always the risk of not getting the long sought out opportunity. So gear up for the occasion and pull your guts and get going.

Love is considered as sweet pain that increases as you try to escape it. The more you want to escape love, the more it chases you. It is considered as a boon that every young person and young at heart feel and experience love some time or the other in their lives.

When we have bad experiences , we put it off into the back corridors of our brain once we find someone again who seems very near to our heart. The moment you see someone and your heart skips a beat and you long to see that person again and again, and you feel that, that person seems to be very familiar to your heart since ages, mind you that is your love, learn that he or she is your love.

These two concepts are interlinked and one cannot be understood without the other. Romance cannot be possible without a relationship and relationship finds no meaning without romance in it. All relationships are not related to romance. Only those relationships that presuppose a physical love and bond can talk of romance. Romance is a feeling between two people who share a sexual intimacy and would wish to enjoy the conjugal affinity.

Like all other kinds of communication, expressing love can also be either verbal or non-verbal. The most effective way of non-verbal expression of love is through the eyes. Eyes can communicate lots. Expressing love through eyes is not only easy but also very effective. The rest of the communication can be effectively done by oral or verbal language.
