- Doing the unexpected can surprise your partner to a great deal. Serve him his favorite breakfast in bed.
- Dress up in his favorite dress to receive him when he comes back from work.
- Dress up in his favorite lingerie for the night.
- Set the dining table for a candle light dinner just for the two of you
- Arrange to send him a birthday gift so that he can receive it at his office.
- Arrange with his friends to set a pop up poster of Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary.
- Organize a surprise party for his mother's birthday.
- Invite his friends for dinner on some weekend, and serve them their favorite drinks.
- Do not pick on him for his usual faults, like forgetting to put the cap of the toothpaste tube, throwing the wet towel on the bed, leaving his soiled socks near the sofa or in the living room. - Be the first one to apologize, even if you are not at fault. Genuinely try to behave as if nothing has happened or that you are completely to be blamed, and that you will take the responsibility to see that such situation does not repeat.
- Serve him piping hot snacks or a drink or a hot cup of coffee when he is watching his favorite football match or any programme. If it is lunch or dinnertime serve him that near the television.
- See to it that the children or any others do not disturb him when he is watching his favorite programme.
- Buy gifts for his mother or his sister/s and have him take you to them to give the gifts.
- Ask his mother for the recipe of his favorite dish and after cooking it remember to thank her and say you could not cook it as well as she does, and that you think she is a better cook than you at any time. Let him hear it when you are calling his mother and doing the talking.
